Born Canadian-Pakistani Muslim. Became Christian in May 1999. Recognize I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Saviour. I’m not a pastor and have no formal theological training. Since Christ saved me, I have worked with youth in a local church for years teaching Sunday school, leading fellowships, and have found there is no substitute for real engaging thought provoking Bible-based learning/teaching. Currently work in Marketing at a Fortune 500 company in Toronto Canada. Passion for true biblical understanding and sound doctrinal practices. Heart yearns for others to realize who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for us. Desire to show we can all, even a lay person, make an effort to learn and equip ourselves with a solid foundation in truth.

Personal Sharing

We all have those moments… you know when someone says something to you or something happens and it stays with you forever. Perhaps we don’t appreciate its significance at the time but it stays with us. It seems to come back on occasion throughout our life with renewed passion and we recall the statement or incident with the same intensity that hit us in that first instance we encountered it – it seems to etch away at us, shaping a bit of who we are and how we think. One of these moments, has entrenched itself in my mind and I wish to share it with you…

I once had someone tell me of her missionary trip to China. Her Pastor on their flight back heard people being satisfied in the work they performed in China and he told them “don’t you dare take credit for what happened in China”. He repeated this loving and yet harsh rebuke several times. This account stays with me -  as she shared how he expanded by sharing how God can do anything He wishes (as easy as a snap of the fingers) and yet He uses us. We are simply leaky vessels. I am so grateful. I pray He continues to refill this leaky vessel with His Spirit – for me to have wisdom, passion, love, and a resolute focus to humbly serve His will and shine His light. It is this moment and understanding that serve as the motivation and perspective of “My Mission”.
